Whether you're married, single, or dating, you have a house full of kids or an empty nest, you're young or old, we all experience the ups and downs of marriage and family. We shape these relationships, and they shape us…for better or for worse.
We all have questions... like what is God's plan for it all? How do we fix family when it's broken? What does it mean to be a good husband or wife, a son or daughter? What does the Bible say about raising kids, and how do we know we're even on the right track?
In this 8-week discipleship course, we will explore these questions and so many more!
Though we live in a physical world, the Bible teaches that there is another world. There is a spirit world, where there is a war raging – the kingdom of light versus the kingdom of darkness. Stronger is an 8-week discipleship course designed to challenge you to consider biblically and engage practically the spiritual war happening all around us every day.
The Apostle Paul highlights this spiritual war in 2 Corinthians 10:3-4 when he tells us that “We are human, but we don’t wage war as humans do. We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments.”
Leading Change is a leadership small group designed to help you practically apply the Biblical principles from the book, “Lasting Change: A Systematic Approach To The Christian Life” by Stephen Martin, to your development as a leader in your local church. The skills you will learn will serve as a catalyst for leadership development in every arena of influence.
