Serve Our City is our year-round outreach initiative here at Vintage Church.

Jesus said to go into all the world and preach the gospel. He also said that He didn’t come to be served, but to serve. We want to follow His command and His example to do both and this initiative is one way we stay intentional as a church to do so. We know that often the greatest opportunities to preach the gospel come when we first serve others.

We accomplish this goal through monthly organized group serve opportunities, partnerships with other local organizations throughout Harker Heights, Liberty Hill, Belton and Temple, and individual projects submitted by members of our Vintage Church family.

Each summer, we also highly encourage all of our members to participate in “Serve Our City” week. During this week, we encourage all of our members to commit to serving at least one hour throughout that week individually, or in a smaller group, Monday through Friday, and then we come together that Saturday to serve as a larger group at an organized opportunity within each of our location’s areas.
