We’ve been specifically requested to serve at the brand new Elementary school, Bar-W this year. Rather than administrating the program ourselves, we will be working with Education Connection, which is a ministry backed by a number of churches in the greater Austin area to support literacy initiatives at the elementary level. In addition to readers, we are also looking for 1 coordinator that will serve as a liaison between our volunteers and Education Connection. Please note, a background check is required through the school district which is different than the one you may have done for us.
