Edward Jones

Kyle Huitt

I'm a puzzle-solver who cares deeply about finding ways to help people improve their lives.

I do that as a financial advisor by partnering with people for the long term and I help my clients with developing and adapting well-defined goals, creating personalized strategies to help pursue those goals, navigating financial complexities while looking for opportunities within them, and adapting to major life events.

A financial advisor is only as good as the resources and colleagues available to them. I am proud to work with Edward Jones, which has been operating for over a century, because it offers a well-established and well-tested process, cutting-edge tools and a vast and well-tenured team dedicated to helping me serve my clients with excellence.

Before joining Edward Jones, I spent a lot of time in higher education where I worked on learning, teaching and solving theoretical issues. I chose a career in financial services because it gives my love for analysis and strategy a way to make a practical difference for real people.

Since 2021, I have been doing research at Baylor – primarily in formal epistemology (theories concerning probability and rationality). Before that, I received a B.A. in philosophy at Hillsdale College where I had the privilege of studying timeless thinkers and ideas. I then received my M.A. in philosophy at Western Michigan University. As an undergraduate and graduate student, I also started and ran a company to help small businesses develop and implement strategies for their presence on the internet.

My wife and I came down to central Texas so that I could do work at Baylor, and we fell in love (especially since we are away from the cold and snow that we both grew up around in Michigan). My wife works in healthcare where she puts her love for people to work. We have a very spoiled dog, Ella, and we look forward to growing our family. We enjoy weightlifting together, participating in our church community and watching movies. My own hobbies and interests include playing chess, continuing my research at Baylor, playing golf, running and reading old books.

I work with clients who are serious about being effective stewards of their assets with the goal of leaving themselves and those around them better off than they were before. If that resonates with you, I would love to talk about working together.
